NOTE: Follow this exactly. These instructions are for Netscape Communicator 4.75. You may check your version by hitting help, then about.
  • Start Netscape Communicator.
  • Go to the Edit Menu
  • Go to preferences
  • Click the + sign next to the "Mail & Newsgroups" section
  • Click Identity
  • For your name put in your name
  • For email address put in you@yourdomain.com
  • For Organization put in your organization
  • Click the Mail Servers tab on the left side, under identity
  • Your current service, or the default one named mail will be listed in the window
  • Double Click Mail (or your old service if applicable)
  • For Server Name: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Server type should be set to "POP3 Server"
  • For your username put in you%yourdomain.com
  • Click OK
  • Under the box that you just double-clicked the service on, there will be a area that says Outgoing Mail (SMTP)
  • Put in mail.yourdomain.com
  • For SMTP user name just use you or leave it blank (you = your user name) it is optional.
  • Click OK at the bottom of the screen
  • Hit CTRL+2, or click the little mailbox at the lower right of the screen, to check your mail
  • Your account is active and working. If you follow these instructions step by step and your account does not work, you may call 1-877-WAN-7300 and have us change your password for you. If you recieve any other messages not relating to your password, check your internet connection.
